Chapter 48 Invitation to the Ice Palace

As night deepened, the lights of the Ice Kingdom gradually went out, leaving only occasional patrolling guards on the streets.

Inside Yun Muhan's and Dugu Jianling's room, Yun Muhan was ready to act. He sat cross-legged on the bed, eyes slightly closed, and began to mobilize his divine sense.

Outside, there were light footsteps, followed by the sound of a key being inserted into the lock. The door was gently pushed open, and a dark figure darted in.

The shadowy figure searched the room, seemingly finding nothing amiss, before quietly slipping out. The door closed behind them, and the footsteps faded into the distance.

Yun Muhan opened his eyes, only to find a dark figure staring at him.

Yun Muhan's heart was pounding in his chest, but his face remained calm, as if he had just woken up from a dream.

Yun Muhan's gaze met that of the woman in black. It was a deep and unfathomable look, as if it could see into people's hearts.

"I intend to invite you to participate in the Ice Kingdom competition. What do you think?"

"A competition in the Land of Ice?" Yun Muhan's voice carried a hint of doubt as he quickly analyzed the possible hidden intentions behind this sudden invitation.

"I'm just a nobody, why would I receive such an invitation?"

A faint smile played on the woman's lips. Her voice was deep and magnetic, seemingly able to penetrate the heart. "Young Master Yun, there's no need for such modesty. The Ice Kingdom Tournament is a rare opportunity, where heroes from all walks of life gather to showcase their martial arts and wisdom. Dugu Jianling: It's just more fighting and killing, so boring, but it's also an opportunity.

Yun Muhan's heart stirred. He knew this was a good opportunity to improve his strength and reputation, but it was also a challenge full of unknowns and dangers.
