Chapter 95: Controlling Dreams Of His Mother

Chapter 95: Controlling Dreams Of His Mother

The grandeur of the Steele Family’s mansion loomed before Alaric and Ulyria as their carriage pulled up to the sprawling estate. The journey had been long and exhausting, but the sight of his childhood home filled Alaric with a mix of nostalgia and anticipation. He turned to Ulyria, who looked both awestruck and nervous.

"Welcome to the Steele family mansion, sweet cheeks," Alaric said, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Home sweet home. Quite a change from that dusty old warehouse, wouldn’t you say?"

Ulyria simply nodded, her eyes wide with a mixture of wonder and apprehension. "It’s... magnificent," she breathed, her voice barely a whisper.

As they stepped out of the carriage, Alaric led Ulyria through the ornate gardens and into the grand foyer. The mansion was a testament to the Steele Family’s wealth and power, with its high ceilings, marble floors, and opulent decor.

Alaric could see Ulyria’s eyes widening as she took in the splendor of her new surroundings.

"Keep your jaw off the floor, sweet cheeks," Alaric teased gently, a hint of amusement in his voice. "You’ll attract flies."

Ulyria flushed slightly, quickly composing herself. "It’s just... overwhelming," she murmured.

"You’ll get used to it," Alaric assured her, leading her through a series of winding hallways. "Now, I want you to meet someone."

They entered a large, sunlit training room, where the clash of steel against steel echoed through the air.

In the center of the room, Lyra Steele, Alaric’s mother, was engaged in a vigorous sword training session. She was dressed in tight, form-fitting leather clothing that hugged her voluptuous body in all the right places. The leather pants clung to her shapely legs, accentuating her toned thighs and calves.@@@@

Her leather top was cut low, revealing a generous amount of cleavage, and it molded to her curves, highlighting her narrow waist and full breasts. The outfit was designed for both comfort and agility, but it also made her look incredibly sexy.

Lyra’s long blonde hair was tied back in a tight bun, but a few stray locks had escaped and were plastered to her forehead with sweat. Her ocean blue eyes were focused and intense as she parried and thrust with her opponent, a seasoned trainer who was clearly struggling to keep up with her ferocity.

As Alaric and Ulyria entered the room, Lyra’s eyes flicked towards them, her gaze sharp and assessing. She executed a swift, graceful move that disarmed her opponent before turning to face her son and the unknown woman by his side.

"Alaric," she said, her voice strong and commanding, yet tinged with a hint of warmth. "You’re back. And who is this you’ve brought with you?" Her gaze shifted to Ulyria, scrutinizing her appearance with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion.

Alaric stepped forward, a confident smirk playing on his lips. "Mother," he said, his voice casual and relaxed, "it’s good to see you too. This is Ulyria. She’ll be... assisting us with household matters from now on." He deliberately avoided using the word "maid," opting for a more ambiguous term.

Lyra’s eyebrows arched slightly, her eyes narrowing as she studied Ulyria more closely. "Assisting with household matters, hmm?" she repeated, her voice laced with a hint of skepticism. "We have a rather extensive staff already. I trust she’s... qualified?"

Ulyria swallowed nervously, her gaze darting between Alaric and Lyra. "Y-yes, ma’am," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I’ll do my best to serve you and your family."

Lyra’s gaze lingered on Ulyria for a moment longer, then shifted back to Alaric. "So," she said, her tone becoming more conversational, "how was your trip? I trust you were successful, given your... new companion."

Alaric chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "Eventful is one word for it," he replied. "I’ll fill you in on all the details tomorrow morning. For now, I’m rather exhausted. I could use some rest."

Lyra nodded understandingly. "Of course, dear. You must be tired. I was just about to head to dinner myself. We can catch up properly then."

Alaric smiled, leaning in to give his mother a quick kiss on the cheek. "Sounds good, Mom. You look like you’ve been putting in some serious training. Don’t overdo it."

Lyra returned the smile, her expression softening slightly. "Someone has to keep this family in fighting shape," she said with a playful wink.

As Lyra left the training room, Alaric turned to Ulyria, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Come on, sweet cheeks," he said, his voice dropping to a low murmur. "Let’s get you settled in. You’ll be staying in the room next to mine. That way, I can keep a close eye on you."

Ulyria nodded silently, her eyes reflecting a mixture of relief and apprehension. "Thank you, sir," she murmured, her voice soft and submissive.

And as he climbed into bed, his body relaxed and at ease, his mind filled with dreams and desires and fantasies, he knew that the night ahead held endless possibilities. And he couldn’t wait to explore them all to make his dreams come true.

The next morning, Alaric awoke feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, his body humming with energy and excitement. He dressed quickly, his mind already racing with plans and preparations for the day ahead. He knew he had a lot to do.

He made his way downstairs, the mansion already buzzing with activity as the servants went about their daily tasks. He could smell the tantalizing aroma of breakfast wafting through the air, and his stomach rumbled in anticipation.

As he entered the dining room, he found his mother already seated at the table, a steaming cup of coffee in her hand, her eyes scanning the morning newspaper. She looked up as he entered, her eyes bright and alert, her smile warm and welcoming.

"Morning, dear," she said, her voice soft and affectionate. "Sleep well?"

Alaric smiled, taking a seat across from her. "Yep," he replied, his voice casual and relaxed. "You?"

Lyra’s eyes sparkled with amusement. "Like a log," she said with a laugh. "I must have been more tired than I thought. I had the strangest dreams last night."

Alaric’s heart skipped a beat, his eyes widening in surprise and curiosity. "Oh yeah?" he said, his voice casual and offhand. "What about?"

Lyra’s cheeks flushed slightly, her eyes darting away shyly. "Oh, nothing really," she murmured, her voice soft and dismissive. "Just... just silly, nonsensical things. Nothing important."

Alaric nodded, his heart pounding with excitement and anticipation. He knew his plan was working, knew his mother’s desires were growing.

As they ate breakfast, Alaric filled his mother in on the details of his journey, his adventures, his acquisitions.

He knew he had to be careful, had to be cautious, had to hide certain details from his mother. He couldn’t tell her about Ulyria, about the way he had acquired her.

But he could tell her about the rest of it, about the way he had helped the Silver Ravens Guild, about the way he had completed their mission.

He could tell her about the adventures he had faced, the challenges he had overcome. And he knew that, with each passing word, with each passing story, he could make her see him in a new light...As a man.

As they finished breakfast, Alaric knew that he had to attend to another matter. He had to send a letter to Iridelle Khysarel, had to let her know that he had acquired the Mystic Rejuvenation Elixir.

He excused himself from the table, his mind already racing with plans and possibilities, and made his way to his study. He sat down at his desk, pulling out a sheet of parchment, a quill, and an inkwell. He dipped the quill in the ink, his mind racing with words, with phrases, with sentences. And he began to write, his hand moving quickly, his thoughts flowing freely, his desires taking shape.

"My dear Iridelle,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to inform you that I have recently acquired something that I believe will be of great interest to you—the Mystic Rejuvenation Elixir. I believe that, with this elixir, I can heal your broken magic circuits, can restore your powers, can make you whole again.

However, I must insist that you come to my mansion alone. I do not want Natasha to have any inkling about this, as I fear that she would insist on accompanying you. And I do not want that. I want this to be between you and me, Iridelle. Just you and me.

Please, come to my mansion as soon as you are able. I promise you that you will not regret it.

Yours sincerely,

Alaric Steele"

As he finished writing the letter, Alaric folded it carefully, sealing it with a blob of wax and the imprint of his signet ring. He knew that he had to be careful.

He had to make sure that it reached Iridelle, and Iridelle alone. He called for a servant, instructing them to deliver the letter to Iridelle Khysarel personally.

He watched as the servant nodded, their eyes filled with understanding and obedience, and rushed off to carry out their task. And he knew that, with each passing moment, with each passing hour, with each passing day, his plans were falling into place.
