Hidden Dead Ends

Chapter 51

Chapter 51

As Li Chengyi approached, he could see more details of the slot machine. In this entire old district shrouded in gray fog, everything was covered in a layer of dull color—except for the slot machine, which remained brightly colored as ever.

Everything around was unpowered, but the slot machine kept spinning its gambling reels, the central numbers shifting intermittently. Li Chengyi slowly walked up to it, noticing an old, cracked, yellow wooden stool placed on the ground in front of the machine.

The stool was round, reminiscent of a small wooden toy stool meant for children, with two circular ends connected by a pillar in the middle.

Looking around, he realized that the path he had come from was now completely obscured by the dense gray fog.@@@@

Before he could regain his senses, the slot machine had vanished, replaced by a game hall glowing with colorful lights.

He staggered backward, regaining his balance.

Only then did he realize he was standing in front of the game hall, staring blankly inside, unable to move.
