Chapter 309 - 252: Award Ceremony (3)

Soon, they reached a door and stopped, waiting for a moment.

During the brief wait, Feng Shan took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, trying to calm his racing heart.

Just then, a clear, passionate female voice rang out from within.

"Please welcome the brave Carnation Knight, the Fenrir Terminator, the Ice Sea Rescuer—Mr. Feng Shan."

Her voice, amplified by the sound system, echoed through the venue, and the room instantly erupted in applause.

"Sir, please follow me," the brunette murmured, giving him a sultry, inviting look before gently pushing open the door.

Instantly, a dazzling spotlight shone on Feng Shan’s face. The intense glare made him instinctively squint, and it took a few seconds for his eyes to adjust.

His gaze fell upon the densely packed crowd below the stage. Political dignitaries, representatives from social organizations, and the Indigenous People were all seated there, their eyes fixed on him. He could see curiosity, anticipation, and admiration in their faces.

Feng Shan composed himself, lifted his chin slightly, and strode toward the center of the stage with firm, powerful steps. On his shoulder, Loki puffed out his small chest, as if he, too, were about to embrace his own moment of glory.

The applause from the audience grew more intense, thundering through the auditorium.

The brunette led Feng Shan to the center of the stage.

There, Feng Shan’s eyes immediately fell on Eva, Frank’s new girlfriend, whom he had met just two days prior.

She wore an exquisitely designed, off-the-shoulder gown that accentuated her graceful figure.

Her impressive bust, pushed up by the gown, was particularly eye-catching. The fabric created a swathe of pristine white that caught the stage lights with a captivating sheen.

Eva wore a sweet smile, her eyes holding a unique allure. She seemed to be reveling in the feeling of being on stage, the center of everyone’s attention.

To one side of the stage, the other award recipients stood, their faces filled with excitement and pride.

As Feng Shan took his place,

a video of his deeds began to play on the large screen behind him. The crisp images immediately captivated the audience.

In the video, the Carnation flew like a petrel through a blizzard. In the gray, swirling tempest of snow, its form appeared small but incredibly tenacious. The next moment, the Carnation was shown landing at Fairbanks Airport, and a blood-soaked Susan was carried from the cabin.

The scene then cut to the next video clip.

A Super Wolf Pack, led by the Black Wolf Fenrir, was shown rampaging through the Far North Tundra. Pairs of glowing eyes shone menacingly in the darkness as the wolves attacked residential areas and carried off livestock.

Despite repeated attempts to capture it, the cunning and ferocious Black Wolf Fenrir always managed to escape. But in the end, it was shown falling at Feng Shan’s feet.

The final video clip was even more harrowing, causing everyone’s heart to clench.

Assailed by the notorious cold currents and gusts of the Bering Sea, waves over ten meters high swelled one after another. The surface of the sea seemed to be twisted by an invisible giant’s hand, creating staggering, terrifying troughs and crests.

The River Beach, all its lights ablaze, was encased in a thick layer of ice. It struggled to push forward through the roiling waves.

Each icy wave, over ten meters high, crashed against the hull like a ferocious beast, one after another, with a deafening impact.

Yet there stood Feng Shan on the foredeck, his posture straight and unyielding, his face showing no fear. He calmly directed his crew, pulling one crew member after another from the Hollywood from the bone-chilling sea. The tense, perilous scene had every person in the audience holding their breath in suspense.
