Chapter 762: "The Lizard"

Chapter 762: "The Lizard""It seems a little too casual to wear this to meet the girl's parents. Since I'm the police chief, I'll provide you with a suit. With a pointed gesture, Peter's Spider-Man suit transformed into a sophisticated ensemble of top-notch craftsmanship.

Simultaneously, the disheveled flowers in Peter's bag regained their vibrant appearance, each bloom meticulously restored to its former glory. Jerry even added a crimson rose to the assortment, adding a touch of elegance.

The Amazing Spider-Man was one of the Marvel movie series that Jerry had watched while exploring the world of the Sorcerer's Apprentice.

He had found this version of Spider-Man's girlfriend, Gwen Stacy, to be the most fitting companion for the superhero. Jerry had been fond of Peter even before learning of his alter ego as Spider-Man.

Witnessing Peter's brave actions against school bullies had endeared him to Jerry. And as Peter faced various challenges, he had demonstrated his intelligence and resourcefulness, earning Jerry's admiration and support.

It just didn't end well in the movie... Jerry wishes the relationship between Peter and Gwen could be continued for another installment, but alas, the human world doesn't work exactly the way he wants it to.

"Oh Shet, oh God, oh this suit is really good!"

Seeing a suit appear out of thin air on his body, Peter was so surprised that he began to speak incoherently, "Wh—what just happened? Where... first of all who are you and what are you doing to my stuffs? You know you've been trespassing my private property in this case."

Jerry didn't even bother to listen to his complain.

What happened in front of him was simply amazing, even better than after his mutation. But when he calmed down, he suddenly realized that the suit he was wearing really fit him well and looked good.

"Remember, your spider silk is elastic. It's best not to use spider silk when rescuing people."

He stretched out his hand and snapped his fingers to undo the Full Body-Bind Curse on Peter. After leaving a meaningful kind word, Jerry stood in place and disappeared.

Peter was left standing there dumbly.

Jerry, who left invisibly, flew around the earth several times and confirmed that there was no existence on the earth similar to the Demon Gods who resides in Dimension, and then used the "branding" magic again.

Helping the kind little spider in every universe is just a random thing, but his real purpose is to gain income from the entire solar system.

After casting the "branding" magic, Jerry returned to New York again. As before, it would take a month for the "branding" magic to be fully effective.

Just as Jerry was about to enter the ring universe and come out a month later when the branding magic was completed, a beast-like roar and a large number of human screams suddenly came from the Brooklyn Bridge below him.

Jerry smiled at the recognition. "I'm not Mr. Fantastic. That's a nickname for someone else entirely. You can call me Wizard or Mr. Carmen. How about it? Do you need a hand?"

"Wizard? So, you're a wizard. It would be fantastic if you could help. That big guy is proving to be quite a handful. I would be really glad if I get another hand or two to fight him!" Peter replied, relief evident in his voice.

Hearing the term "wizard," Peter couldn't help but recall the magical abilities displayed by Jerry earlier, reminiscent of those fantastical tales. With a nod of agreement, Peter welcomed the assistance eagerly.

As soon as he finished speaking, Jerry's figure vanished instantly, reappearing behind Lizard.

"Good evening, Dr. Connors?" Jerry greeted the imposing lizard creature with surprising friendliness.

However, Connors, under the influence of his mutated genes, was far from amicable. He lashed out his tail, aiming a vicious blow at Jerry.

"Watch out!" Peter instinctively shouted, startled by Jerry's sudden teleportation. Despite his own recent brush with the lizard's tail, he couldn't help but worry for Jerry's safety.

Jerry, undeterred by the impending strike, deftly caught the incoming tail with one hand, surprising everyone with his strength.

"You're not very friendly, are you? Well, then don't blame me for returning the favor!" Jerry remarked calmly as he proceeded to swing the lizard's tail back and forth like a toy.

To Peter's astonishment, the once-ferocious Lizard seemed utterly powerless against Jerry's grip, unable to offer any resistance.

"No wonder the Hulk enjoys tossing things around like this. It's quite enjoyable," Jerry mused aloud as he continued to fling Lizard around with remarkable ease.

After several vigorous throws, Jerry finally released the now-unconscious Lizard, allowing him to slump to the ground.

As the creature's unstable genetic mutations subsided, Dr. Connors reverted back to his human form, temporarily subdued by Jerry's unexpected display of power.
