MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM

Chapter 175 Suspicion

Chapter 175 Suspicion

Suspicion

"He... Lost...?" The question was tentative and uncertain, its source from one of the Djinns that had been trying to observe the battle.

The battered body of their leader was made clear for all to see after Kim ended the battle. It was strange because she put a hole through him, yet he had healed.

On the other hand, the claw marks she'd put on him didn't heal, instead, they seemed to mess with his body's functions, preventing him from healing and messing with his motor coordination.

He was still conscious, but he couldn't make use of his body properly. That's why he could hardly resist when Kim grabbed him and threw him in front of his people like a sack of potatoes.

"That should have been a good enough demonstration I believe." She said matter-of-factly and folded her arms, her tail twitching in anticipation as she watched to see who would dare say anything contrary to her.

The Djinn were all intimidated. Before they thought she was over her head, but now they knew she meant business.

Another Djinn that was notably smaller than the one Kim fought with a more feminine figure floated forward and said respectfully.

"Your display... has convinced us." Hearing this, Kim nodded with satisfaction.

"So, care to state the reason you're all here?" She knew the reason, both because it was obvious and because they had a Seer telling them what was going to happen, but she still wanted to ask.

The female Djinn glanced at her leader who was taken in for treatment before replying.

"We... had the suspicion that your group could resist the onslaught of the blizzard effectively. We've come to verify the authenticity of said rumor as well as ask for protection..." It was subtle, but her voice grew quieter ever so slightly at the last part with what seemed to be... shame?

Kim was amused.

"Oh? The great clans don't have a way to defend themselves against existence erasure." She said mockingly on purpose and the Djinn trembled softly.

It was immature, petty, and uncalled for, but Kim couldn't help herself. After all, they had sent someone to try and defeat her so that it wouldn't look like they were in a desperate situation. But now that their strongest combatant lost, their situation became even more apparent, and any advantage they thought they had was lost.

If Kim lost the fight, they could keep their superiority and claim the right to settle in the fortress. But now that they lost, they had no choice to but plead and hope. So it wasn't an exaggeration to say that their survival depended greatly on Kim's decision. Their situation was clear, so the female Djinn failed to hide her nervousness.

Luckily for her, unlike Silver, Thanatos, or Belladonna who would massacre everyone here using the excuse of being challenged, Kim understood empathy.

Not that she'd start babying them, that much was clear, but she could understand their situation somewhat, so she wasn't keen on bullying them...

Too much.

"Alright, get your vessels and bring them over." She said calmly and the Djinn present looked at her with surprise.

This Plain indeed didn't limit the use of one's magic to traverse it, and if one desired, one could cross the entire plain with magic alone, not experiencing any sort of pressure. And if at any point they decided to stop using magic, the pressure they would face would be the exact same as when they started using magic. As Christopher just experienced.

Now here was the catch.

The Plain had a reward system, the system was simple. Based on how much gravity one endured, they would receive a reward when they reached the end of the plain. The grading system wouldn't become clear until the trail was cleared, but that's how it was.

So Christopher acting out on his vague suspicion would prove to be beneficial to him.

"Oh my-! You know what? Whatever." Aisha huffed and threw her hands into the air.

The moment Christopher started the trial, Aisha discovered that she was unable to communicate with him. It was strange because she could still observe him and hear everything he said, but she was unable to get any words across to him.

She had spent the better part of an hour trying to talk to him, but no matter what she did, no attempts at communication worked, which irritated her.

The reason she was so urgent was because using fate, she noticed that Christopher was going to come across a pretty big obstacle soon, and she felt obligated to warn him about it. However, the inability to communicate thwarted this plan.

However, she wouldn't have given up so easily, at least under normal circumstances, but she knew that even if she could communicate, Christopher would easily sense her intentions and tell her to keep whatever she wanted to say to herself as he wanted to face all challenges on his own. Which is why she decided to leave it for now.

Moreover, there was another worry on her mind.

'Those entities...' Her brows furrows when she thought about them. The fact that they technically didn't exist was unnerving, and she doubted many people among the Genesis Corps would be able to handle one, let alone the thousands within the Blizzard.

As such, she was thinking of various solutions to the problem, and this time, she made sure to not overlook anything and observedher options properly.

In the end, she came to a conclusion.

'Master fought those things by forcefully grounding them to fate to make them exist again.' She mused before nodding to herself.

She snapped her fingers, then several clones of herself appeared around her.

"Old Man." She said lightly and a manifestation of Sinestra appeared next to her main body in an instant.

"Yes girl?' He inquired and Aisha and her clones started to weave extremely complex tapestries using fate.

"Can I get some Causality steel plates?" She asked calmly and Sinestra just nodded. His manifestation vanished, and a moment later, several metal plates the size of a plate with a green sheen appeared in front of each clone.
