Chapter 2 Reincarnation?!
Chapter 2 Reincarnation?!
Reincarnation?!
Christopher died.
He knew he had died because his vision went black and he lost all feeling in his body. Just like how people always speculated.
In the brief instant before death, he wondered what would happen.
He wasn't particularly religious, so he doubted he'd end up in whatever paradise was there. If there was one anyway.
Then there was also a very popular theory that was reincarnation. That if someone died they would be reborn as something else, maybe human, or some other animal.
Christopher had no idea which one awaited him, so he just hoped that whatever it was, it would be good.
So when darkness fully engulfed him, his soul that was invisible to everyone left his body.
It floated upwards beforehand shooting out at a speed that far suroassed light. Out of the Earth's atmosphere and into outer space.
At impossible speeds his soul flew, passing by planets, stars, galaxies, galaxy clusters, and galactic filaments.
It passed by all of these until, in just a few seconds, it left the boundaries of the universe.
Still, his soul didn't stop and kept traveling. And as it did, it passed unimaginably large bubbles that represented other universes, and as it moved, other souls could be seen near it as it appeared that they had a similar destination.
His soul moved, and the souls around it became more and more until and entire river of souls shot through the empty space between universes, and their destination was somewhere that many individuals couldn't even fathom.
At the end of the massive ocean of souls, there was a structure so massive that it seemed impossible for such a thing to exist.
A massive gold and white palace appeared with its size dwarfing hundreds of universes. And at its massive front, a door that was made up swirling light could be seen, and all the souls passed through it.
It was through this door that the various souls would be inspected before being reborn.
Christopher's souls, a small white orb floated amongst its peers and moved towards the door. The moment he passed through, his memories would be wiped and he would be reborn as a completely new entity.
That was how it was supposed to be, that is.
Christopher's soul was about halfway towards the massive gate when a phenomenon occured.
Far in the distance, a light flickered. And then far faster than the souls were moving, it shot towards the river.
It didn't seem to have a specific destination as it just flew in a straight line leaving a streak in its wake as it flew so fast.
Even though the soul river was in front of it, it didn't change its direction and just zoomed. The moment it reached the soul river, it impacted the soul that was in its way. And this soul, happened to be Christopher's soul.
It hit his soul, but there was no impact. Instead, the light fused with his soul and settled in the very center.
After that, not happened for a moment. And then, the light began to shine and proliferate within Christopher's soul. And then, it vanished.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Like it was never there, Christopher's soul disappeared and a soul quickly took its place.
This phenomenon didn't alert anybody, hence no one would know what had occured. However the implications of this phenomenon would shake the very fabrics of reality on an unimaginable scale, and no entity would be unaffected.
However, that was something that would happen far in the future. For now though, we'll turn our focus back to Christopher's soul and where it disappeared to.

In a world an incalculable distance away from earth, a figure could be seen face down on the floor, his clothes tattered and bloody. It didn't take a genius to realize that he was dead.
Christopher blinked.
"Okay, what exactly is your primary function?" For the first time, the system actually allowed him to ask what was on his mind, seeming to sense his irritation at getting his mind read.
And after reaching a certain size as well as fulfilling certain prerequisites, the dimension will evolve and everything inside will undergo another ten thousand times enhancement.> The system paused and Christopher was stunned, but it wasn't done. Just from the memories of the previous holder of this body, Christopher knew how insanely dangerous this world was. But with a system like this, maybe, just maybe, he could protect himself. He knew he shouldn't trust its words, but he didn't exactly have a choice. Thus, he just rolled with it and hoped it was legit. "Can you like, ascertain my stats or whatever?" Christopher asked. He didn't play many games, but that was because of his ability to get them. The few he did play held a deep place in his heart. Race: Human Rank: Rankless Affinity: None Physique: Average Bloodline: None Dimensional abilities→ > Christopher saw the screen and his eyes gleamed. He was sure that by this world's standards, he was complete trash. But he knew it wouldn't remain that way for long. He focused his haze on the dimensional abilities and a new window opened.
