The herculean soldier, still reeling from the impact, struggled to get back on his feet, his armor dented and cracked from the sheer force of Jett's counter. But before he could fully recover, Matthew's Ironback Bear charged toward him with a thunderous roar, its massive claws aiming to finish the job.
Seraphina followed close behind, her Sylvan Faerie flitting around her shoulder as she prepared to bind him.
[Nature Bind], she chanted, and thick vines erupted from the ground, coiling around the soldier's legs and locking him in place.
"Not so tough now, are you?" Matthew taunted, landing a crushing punch into the soldier's exposed chest, his enhanced strength sending him crumpling to the ground.
Meanwhile, Jett twirled the Midas Spear in his hands, testing its weight and balance. The golden weapon hummed faintly, as if responding to him, its energy flowing through his veins.
From the wall, Finn watched with a satisfied grin. "See? Told you I'd blow your minds."
Rey's jaw tightened. "That doesn't explain how. That spear was made for you so how?. What's going on, Finn?"
"Beats me," Finn replied nonchalantly, though the mischievous glint in his eyes suggested he might know more than he was letting on, "He's always been able to hold it ever since we got it."
"What do you mean we?" Freya asked.
"Ah, well..., he helped me find the spear in the first place." Finn got a bit flustered as hesitated 'After literally killing me though.'
"HE helped you too? What is that's the criteria for being able to wield them?" Aiden suggested.
"No dumbass, that why can't I hold yours?" Elora stepped forward, her tone sharp. "If Jett can wield it, does that mean...?"
"As much as I'd hate to say this, it means he's special," Finn interrupted, folding his arms. "More special than any of us realized."
"Hey you guys? Has anyone seen Asher?" Evelina asked while scanning through battlefield.

Back on the battlefield, Jett had no time to dwell on the astonished looks from his friends. More soldiers charged at him, emboldened by the temporary lapse in his focus. With the Midas Spear in hand, Jett smirked.
"You guys really don't learn, do you?" he said, crouching slightly.

He launched forward with explosive speed, the Midas Spear radiating golden energy as he swung it in a wide arc. The impact was devastating, sending several soldiers flying and creating a crater beneath his feet.
The earth split open below, and from its depths emerged a massive dragon. Its scales gleamed like molten gold, and its roar was deafening, echoing across the battlefield like a war cry. The sheer size of the beast was enough to cast a shadow over the entire area, its massive wings unfurling as it stared up at Jett with glowing crimson eyes.

Matthew and Seraphina stopped mid-battle, their eyes widening at the sight of the colossal dragon. Even the herculean soldier, who had been battling them fiercely, froze in place to watch the scene unfold.
"Haha!" The soldier laughed, a cruel grin spreading across his face. "Your friend's a dead man now!"
Seraphina's expression darkened. Without warning, she delivered a bone-crushing punch to the soldier's jaw, sending him staggering backward. "Worry about yourself," she growled, her Sylvan Faerie glowing brighter as she prepared for another strike.

"Get ready for a royal ass whooping."

Meanwhile, Asher darted through the battlefield with the queen in tow, his movements fluid and precise as he navigated through the chaos. The dragon's roar reached his ears, but he didn't dare look back.
'Just hang in there Jett, I'll be right back,' His grip on the queen tightened as his thoughts raced. 'Stay alive, Jett. You've got this.'

Jett, still airborne, glared down at the dragon as he tightened his hold on the Midas Spear. "A dragon, huh?" he muttered, a smirk tugging at his lips despite the situation. "Guess things just got interesting."
