Chapter 113: Devolving situations

"Where is Sapphire?" Seth looked around but he didn't see his car. But suddenly he saw someone and his heart skipped a bit. He quickly sat back in the van his body trembling. That person has given him nightmares for days and now his body was reacting just at the sight of her.

Anna came into the van with fury and called someone using a communicator, "Sir. Mathew, taking away my family's business and company shares was never enough for you. You just have to take away our residential home. Do you think this is fair, or do you think when we begin to rise in Asteroids and our status returns we will not get back at you....!"

She was speaking calmly before she turned furious and even hit the steering wheel. She cut off the call and called someone, "Barista James, what about our deal? I ask you to protect our home no matter what and I will provide you with all the funds you want for your brother's experiment, you took my money and betrayed me, you mother fucker, you will never see good in your life.

Your brother will never succeed in his experiment and if you think our demise will pull you up, you are dreaming because those at the very top will never care about you.....!"

All the people she called, she wasn't begging but rather cursed them to the top of her lungs. In the end, she bursts into tears as she calls Raaz, "Hello please...!" He didn't allow her to continue as he spoke. In the end, she calmly cut the call.

"Raaz too refused to help us." She muttered under her breath.

Seth was upset, he was sorry for his sister and also afraid of that person. What scared him the most was losing Sapphire. She was so damn special and he had feelings for her. Not only that, she can turn their life for the better if he uses her right. So he blurted.

"I didn't see my car!"

Anna raised her face, full of tears as she began to look around, not seeing the car, she went out.

"Where is Seth's car?" She asked Adam.

"They took it?" Jonathan said, "as we explained, they are investigating the cars too, so..."

"So! You just fucking allowed them to take the damn car. Are they going to take our Cabins too!"

"Calm down Anna, the cabins are ours. It's..." They try to pacify her.

"Who took it..."

If, before, she was going to let everything go, now she wasn't going to be accepting.

She went directly to the man in the suit and asked him about the car, but the bastard ignored her. that served to escalate her anger.

"Why did I tell her that? I should have told her to be careful of that woman," Seth mumbled with concern.

The woman in the equation wore a suit and stood by the side of the agent that claimed to come for an investigation. She looked normal as if an office woman passing by. She was observing everything with keen eyes, with her fake innocent face.

The reason why Seth was appalled at the unassuming woman was, during the asteroid incident, she was with the man that drove the Bunker Truck. she sat beside him as he murdered many people trapped in their cars.

Now that Anna was shouting at the man in charge, her eyes were fixed on her.

"Please don't do anything bad." Seth preyed and also took his phone and call Anna's number

Seth's perceptions increased as everything slowed down, he watched the car slowly move to the woman and the woman put her finger about to pull the trigger, the precision of her aim was insanely accurate on his forehead. Right before she pulled, Seth moved to the left.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Seth shifted his head to the left, and she missed, she readjust the aim to where his head was pulling the trigger, and he had to move to the right which she followed again with her aim.

This showed that she wasn't a normal agent and Seth has never taken her as normal.

Seth wasn't dodging the bullet but moving away right before she pulled the trigger. Before she shot the fourth time the van was upon her and she was slammed back.

Seth expected to see gore and blood however, the woman just held the whole van in her embrace, her face with no expression and also her eyes cold that can freeze anyone in fear.

Her whole demeanour has changed.

"Don't let them identify you. Enter the cockpit, I'm going to explode the car!"

"What?"

"Just do what I said?" Raaz's voice appeared on Seth's bracelet.

He hesitated a little and then he went to the back of the van, found the cockpit and entered. The moment he entered, the car released a thick smoke.

Seth due to tension just fainted.

Seth didn't know what happened but woke up just in time as he saw large smoke rising from afar. Police helicopters and drones filled the air.

The car he was in drove through the neighbourhood as they reached the street where his house was. Seth was confused, wasn't he in the cockpit just now, how did he come here?

The van was still releasing smoke, Anna was in a panic as she saw what happened to the van and she knew Seth was in. nevertheless she still maintained the man at gunpoint, and this time the nuzzle was on his forehead.

"Go out!" Raaz's voice entered Seth's ears. That was when seth look who was driving him. It was Raaz. "How?" He asked.

"Well, your sister arrived first and I decided to take you home myself!" Raaz muttered and then glared at Seth. That meant he should shut the fuck up and forget what happened.

"What the hell was happening here?" Raaz shouted as he went out, "Anna are you out of your mind? That was Sir Chris Son, why do you have him at gunpoint." Raaz said with a fake shock but his acting was good, "Hey, Seth, is your sister insane?"

Seth by then was coming out of the car, seeing him, Anna was surprised before she frowned, "Why did you bring him here now, Raaz? What if he panicked and fainted?" She said with anger.

'Good. She plays along!' Raaz approved, "calm down!" He then walked to her while Seth stayed by the car, he took the gun away and let the cops handcuff her.
