Chapter 150: Retina's Twin

Seth had no choice but to enter and he felt a terrifying power that far surpassed Retina and Roana Prada but was still infinitely weaker than Living Root Forest envelopes him.

"You have grown up. Interestingly, you have a Red Signature. So, you are the legendary husband of Retina and the one that woke that Ancient from his slumber?"

"I thought you know?" Seth said as he tried to maintain his consciousness.

"I don't. Chief isn't open about it before I was kicked out of the Valley!"

"Eh? You are kicked out?"

"Yes. The Ancients said that we Retina are annoying him. So he kicked us out. Thankfully I have made this river already, so gaining and maintaining power wasn't a problem!"

"What about Retina? Is she alright? What about Irik and the rest of the cult!"

"Well, they escaped the continent. Their goal was to escape the Valley and they did. As for Retina, it turned out it was harder to kill my kind."

Seth became silent, "You killed her!" Seth asked. His heart tightened with complicated emotions.

"I tried but she escaped. Haha, killing you will cause her death." Immediately, Seth sounded himself inside the river drowning but to his surprise, he was able to breathe.

His cloak also activated and began to greedily absorb the red liquid.

The red stripe was level 5 but then that didn't prevent it from sucking the red liquid.

"Haha, you are a boy of miracles. Your Red stripe seems better, did you feed it dragon blood!"

"Yes. Please don't kill me!"

"I want Retina dead!"

"Ahh, you see I'm a victim. You colossal beings shouldn't involve some worms in your struggle!"

"Haha, a worm. You think you are a worm. Ancient attack you with Dragon Might and you reciprocate with your Might and you still call yourself a worm."

Samsi asked as he saw Seth was in trance for a very long time. "I'm fine! I'm not going in!" He said.

His Signature Red will explode if he got into another Red Signature domain since the two were opposing each other.

Seth stored them and sat outside waiting for them to finish. As they were returning Seth asked, "What are the benefits of coming here?"

"As someone that was called, you don't know? Well, it helps us remove all kinds of impurities in our blood. If you have bloodlines, its fusion will be smooth and fast."

Seth looked around and he found they all seemed stronger except Juma who was upset about coming here.

Seth nodded but he was still shaken by Retina's pressure and power. 'Retina and Retina. Is she not my wife?' But when he touched the red string on his hand, he felt it was different.

'Well, I will call them Retina 1 and Retina 2. My wife is 1.'

Coming back to the village was uneventful but players were very happy about their gain.

'So this can work. As I'm the leader of the exploration, I did part of the quest.' Seth smiled, this isn't too bad.

He looked up and he saw the village he was in, he went around the edges and found there were inscription formations which were similar to what he saw at Vela dragon cave.

'All dragons can make a sanctuary then!' But he didn't see a place where the Red Stones were used as fuel. He went to the leader and asked him about how the sanctuary came to be.

After listening his assumption was right, but it turned out the sanctuary wasn't made by the Blast Dragon but it was she that revived it and maintained it. He was then guided to where the heart of the formation was. And it was there the Red Stones and other energy sources were put in to keep the barrier on.

Coming back to his comrade Seth was thinking of how he can have more exploration with them to finish one part of the quest.
