Chapter 250: The Golden Rarity

'There are things that I shall never mess with!' Seth thought and he focused his Aura Sight trying to Identify if the Aura had any features that could tell him what the old man was but he only got [Hot turmoiled Aura]

What the [Moon Blessing] guided him to do truly messed up the man's Aura but that was all. No additional damage.

'If I had done it by myself, I would have created a skill. I guess. But what is this old man!'

He immediately tried to repeat what he did, but the staff tip became hot while his surroundings turned cold and then dashed to the old man.

But a chuckle came from Golden Robe Eyeless before a blazing fire burst from his body.

Its appearance alone caused a force that sent Seth flying. However, the Glass Shield protected him from its brunt impact.

While Seth was regaining his bearing, the old man was already waiting with a punch, right as he was about to touch Seth's face, Azure Attire's original Forcefiled activated.

Crack!

Seth shot back like a ball, then another blazing fireball came towards him. Thankfully the Glass Shield force field activated which protected him again.

The old man appeared but a beam of yellow light slammed at him from Seth's chest glass shield and he was forced to move back.

Knowing yellow light erased internal energy and rendered a person powerless, Seth attacked with the heat on its tip staff as his surroundings increased in cold.

However, his body froze and fear gripped him.

'His energy should have been erased by Yellow Light, why is he...'

"Ego...!" Seth muttered but to his surprise, he felt he had no qualms fearing the old man, he even craved to kneel before the golden old man.

"Intimidation!"

Seth called out but it didn't work too, how could a mouse intimidate a lion, that was impossible in reality and fiction.

He was quickly forced to call his Noble Talents, Attributes and others if there was anything he could use.

Seth just realized that he was still super weak, he had zero active offensive skill under him. It was all tricks and they are useless in direct confrontation.

That was if he removed Dragon Pulse and his Staff Blade that was broken.

Yellow light was just the shield redirecting an energy beam.

"Bravery!" That was the only Attribute that can make him useful now. because will make him able to dare the impossible.

Bravery reduces negative emotions that hindered one from achieving dangerous goals such as fear, intimidation, despair and alike. And also boosts one's fearlessness, zeal and euphoria of battle thrills in difficult situations.

Sure enough, Seth found himself moving, but his fears increased. Yet he felt dying a glorious death was a good trade when facing that monstrosity.

Due to the [Bravery] attribute, Seth was able to quantify the danger he was facing and it was enormous. It was akin to a behemoth with incredible size and power.

And he, a Grade 5 human was nothing before it. Thanks to his Bravery Attribute that instilled a craving desire to do the impossible, he pushed up and stood.

Using strange language the old man uttered, he too was barely standing, his face looking down, the Yellow Light did erase his immediate energy.

Seth used [Mighty Speech] for the first time he got it. During his meeting with Feathering Dragon, the dragon was amazed at Seth facing Roana Prada and the thing that controlled the Battle Beast, for that reason he gave Seth his Legacy.

Another thing he gave Seth was his organ of speech which [First Might] improved to Mighty Speech.

The old man trembled for the first time and grimaced, he really didn't want Seth to come close, this was no longer a fight he wished to continue.

He was the old man who listened to Seth's adventure when he was alone in Living Roots. The old man too has been escaping a dragon baby that has no wings.

Well, the reason was Aaron Barbados had stolen Gawee Land Queen of Dragon and sealed her in his body.

Unlike other players, Aaron Barbados was a Sacrificial Lamp, a tribute to the Dragon Queen from the community of people he found himself in the Game.

Since he was blind he was in despair and couldn't do a thing but then he didn't understand his ability at all.

But with true sheer willpower and badassery Barbados pulled off the imposition and single-handedly sealed the most powerful dragon, in Gawee Land below the Ancients, in him and escaped.

That came with great side effects but clear advantages. To reduce his side effects, he needed Seth's mental power to suppress the dragon's mind in him which was why he went on a quest and crafted the Golden Chain Glove for that purpose and then also improved himself.

He thought he would gain at least half of Seth's Mental Power but only got a tiny fraction which was enough.

With no more strength to resist the Queen, he has to go to sleep and when his Asteroid Weapon, the Golden Crown Upgraded, he will wake up to suppress the queen of dragons, again.

Yes, his Cap is a Crown and it was his created weapon known as the Crown Of the Blind.

A titanic golden dragon appeared, her dragon body was dazzling in the night sky as she illuminated everywhere with golden light.

She spread her wings that reached a kilometre each but she couldn't fly, her lower body was irritatingly still human and very tiny. Her pride will not allow her to be seen in this embarrassing situation so she forced it to transform too but was met with fierce resistance due to the golden attire the human was wearing.

Seth didn't care about all that but he did take a glimpse before he focused on running. He has zero desire to get caught in some titan clashes again.

The moon has given him enough PTSD.

The sound of fast speed can be heard before the whole sky was filled with a variety of dragons, small, big, giant and titans. They were moving very slowly and their expression was in reverence to what they could see at a far distance. And that was the sacred golden glow. Happy, their queen is alive.

Seth urged the little cub to move faster than super speed but something crashed in front of them and grabbed both of them with a hand like a human grabbing small kittens—a dragon.

He looked both at them before he threw them away and flashed away in the sky. They are of no importance.

Seth ran to the little cub and they continued running away.

Seth had never seen so many dragons at the same time, their number filled the night sky. They have different sizes and forms, some seem to not even have normal physical bodies but are made of elements.

He also discerned disparity in command and authority. There were only a few dragons that moved faster than the rest to reach the golden light but the rest whether they were young, adult or old all seemed to be in the same speed and formation.

The dragon that grabbed and observed him has special eyes and indeed has seen what was in his possession—the three dragons in the Womb squirmed. The dragon saw them but lost interest.

Not only that, his Aspectos activated, even Red Signature Book reacted and the dragon blood inside them emitted pressure. Seth was terrified thinking he was doomed.

Thankfully, the dragon wasn't impressed and threw them away. One needs to know that Seth was in his Grade 5 not less.

As Seth settled down, sighing, his mind wandered around thinking about things that had happened. "Hahaha. Hahahah!" He burst into a laugh.

"I have a license to hunt dragons as much as I see feat. Buhahaha. Those with authority do not care."

After a week, Seth left again and this time he was going to Fist Sanctuary. Among his bloodlines he has found one that was very suitable for him, it was a very low grade but worked best with his armour.

Another reason he needed to be there was to procure a weapon or Damage Skill. He had come to realize that he had no real offensive skill, which was why he lost badly when facing the Golden Robe old man.

The last reason was that he had found a letter in his pocket with a map that showed a general direction to reach Dragon Burtali. A place where dragons live.

He wasn't going there for them, as he had hunted down at least 2 to 4 dragons a day for the last 7 days, he was going there because he needed to put his name on a strange Stele, that was a way to leave Gawee.

That made him wonder who was really that old man, maybe he was one of the Council working to find a way off the Land.

He doesn't mind who the old man is, he will check the Dragon Burtali but before that, he needs to Infuse Pale Turtle Bloodline in him.

The Pale Turtle Bloodline came from a strange species of Turtle that was born in harsh environments. Just like other turtles, they laid eggs and buried them. But the egg may last years before hatching.

Most eggs will die but those that live will absorb the power of the others and thus when they hatch they release a pulse called the parents.

The father in particular will come and shade away his shell and allow the baby turtles to enter and the moment they do that, they will take control of it and move and travel with it.

They will go around feeding and growing and after some time they will have grown strong. They will then return the shell, most of the time the father would have died due to hunger, or being eaten by something. But if the place was safe and had food, the father would take the shell back and go on his way. The now-grown turtles are independent.

This adaptation mechanism they developed was what made them live long and not go extinct. If not, the young ones will never grow big. The father also would become stronger after doing that.

The bloodline gave the holder excellent control of their body and the exoskeleton they have. In Seth's case, his Shifting Armour will be stronger.

It also increased Seth's strength by a small margin but to Seth that was more than enough.

The Grade 5 Human, clad in his blue armour, a green cloak with silver stripes, flapped in the air as he walked. The green cloak hood covered his face and his left hand held a Grade 2 scribe Book while his right hand was writing using Swirling Pen and Chronicles Ink. Items he made specifically for scribing.

He was using [Walker Skill: Quick Pace], adding to his Silver Moon Stripe, and his staff floating around him, one step can be considered a hundred steps.
