Book 3 - The Art of Diploma-Bee Author's Note Compendium
Wait, what do you mean Belissar has never heard the word gravity before? What is he, some sort of uneducated peasant? I’d accuse him of being a non-bee too, but obviously bees don’t worry about silly things like gravity, so guess that doesn’t apply this time.
Anyways!
Has Belissar made the right choice? What will this new and confusing flower do? Will it help the bees defend the Tower? Tune in next time, to find out!
Gasp, were there consequences to running the Bee Barracks on the bare minimum workers, who are rushing so much to make enough honey that they had no time to organize? That sounds dangerously close to bees acting...inefficiently! But that...that would mean they’re like...non-bees! That’s impossible!
Well, thank goodness the First of the Fifth is here now. Surely no one will regret expanding the cooperation of the hive of hives, right? She’ll make sure everything is as nice and bee-like as we all expect.
Anyways!
Will the new flowers and bees adequately strengthen the Tower? Can the Firstborn and the bee army recover from this failure? Can the First of the Fifth set the hive of hives straight? Tune in next time, to find out!
Stone beehouse, get! ...Belissar might be in for some lifting in the future, if the magically produced trays are stone too. Maybe he’s due for some bulking, he’s like, the scrawniest non-bee around! And that’s before we apply bee standards! Gotta get that bumblebulk, Belissar!
...also, Muuraqi now gets a pass as tolerable non-bee, for his construction of a nice beehouse. Let’s hope the rest of the non-bees will work that hard for the hive of hives!
Anyways!
Will the Third of the Sixth evolve soon? Is the new beehouse sufficiently fireproof? Will the rest of the karnuq be of use to the hive of hives? Tune in next time, to find out!
The Fourth of the Seventh’s actual dreams are impossible? Well then the First of the Fifth’s First Daughter and the Fourth of the Seventh’s communer will reject common sense and make the impossible possible!
By...making a bunch of baby queens who have required me to add another number into the title! Who spent their very first day of life...hearing stories about amazing things outside of the hive from the Fourth of the Seventh...
...that, um, totally won’t have any consequences for the plan to let the Fourth of the Seventh leave by raising a bunch of queens to stay put in her place...
Anyways!
How will the first ever external excursion by a queen go? What will the Fourth of the Seventh find in the beyond? How will the children grow up?
A non-bee that's...building stronger hives? Muuraqi, you are the best non-bee now. We will allow you in the hive of hives, congratulations. Your reward is more work for the hive of hives! Congrats!
Also, Belissar, what are you doing? Your bees are sad, and some of them are even hurting themselves with spicy honey! That’s not cool, Belissar!
Anyways!
Will Muuraqi build a new Bee Barracks for the hive of hives? Will the bees regain their confidence? What will be the Third of the Sixth’s destiny? Tune in next time, to find out! RΆNΟ฿Ёs
Explorers assemble! Except Ruckanos, who we hope will accidentally have a saddle malfunction while flying over a non-purified zone. But hey, at least one of the non-bees knows what’s important!
One of them, that is...
Anyways!
What other wonders and horrors will the Fourth of the Seventh find in the Beyond? Will Ruckanos fulfill the will of the gods? Will anyone traveling with him actually arrive somewhere they want to go? Tune in next time, to find out!
o7 Beero and co, you have nothing to prove, brave soldiers.
Besides, you’ve gone ahead and come up with ritual casting, an efficient way to perform magic for those who are used to precise and efficient coordination! And now you can rain deadly magical attacks from above! What an efficient way to deal with hostiles!
Anyways!
Can Beero and her comrades safely rejoin the battle? Will their new attack suffice to deal with shades? Will they defend and repay the King? Tune in next time, to find out!
At first, I didn’t think stingless bees would work well as a monster specifically. Like, on the one hand, they straight up engage in kamikaze attrition warfare with each other (some species will wage war with other hives by crashing workers together in tackles that often lead to the death of both tackler and tacklee, the war ends when one hive runs out of bees), so they got the spirit, but like, will bee tackles work on shades? And the normal monster bees could do that too if they wanted to, so where’s the advantage to justify making them a separate monster choice? But then I learned about one species that also mummifies intruding beetles by coating them in wax and propolis. From Australia, of course. And I was like, that’ll do.
And then Belissar went and ignored the option! Sigh, whatever. Gardeners are cool too, I guess. I should, like, stop thinking of cool queen options, huh? That’s two Belissar’s gone and skipped!
Anyways!
Has Belissar made the right decision? What impact will gardeners have on the Tower? Will Belissar ever pick one of the cool queen options? Tune in next time, to find out!
Double god mission complete! Well, that was easy! For Belissar at least. For the Third of the Sixth...well, anything is easy if it’s for the King and the hive of hives! What’s a mere risk of fiery death to one of the King’s queens? Which means she should get along nicely with someone once called the Blazing Berserker! This will definitely end well!
Hm? Rewards? What rewards? What other rewards do we need besides a happy fire bee queen?
Anyways!
Will the Third of the Sixth get along with the Blazing Berserker? Can a non-bee possibly teach anything to a bee? What about all those other rewards? Tune in next time, to find out!
Look at all the choices! Hm, a lot of this sounds like non-bee stuff though, so eh. Except for the obviously amazing and incredible parts that the God of Bees collaborated on! Those are obviously the best, Belissar!
Anyways!
What will Belissar decide on? What do the bees think of all this? Will Belissar add something...non-bee related to the Tower? Tune in next time, to find out!
Belissar...made a risky choice? Well, guess he’s king! King’s choice best choice, obviously! The bees said so! The gods even proclaimed Belissar is best dungeon master, so obviously he’s making the completely optimal choice that will have no negative consequences whatsoever! Obviously!
Anyways!
Has Belissar made the completely optimal choice? What will be the results of his plan? Will he live up to the bees’ expectations of him? Tune in next time, to find out!
My patreon readers felt we had too many humies in this novel by this point. And I absolutely agreed! So, here’s some...more non-bees? Huh? That can’t be right. The answer should have been more bees. Well, I guess these are non-bees that are trying to overcome their appalling lack of bees, so maybe that’s ok? If we can get over the appalling lack of bees in the first place.
Except for maybe Tarwantrad. At least she has her priori-bees straight...somewhat. You know, Tarwantrad, you really should’ve been doing more nice things for the bees all along. This is why you are not best dungeon master, Tarwantrad.
Anyways!
Will the wolf man fulfill the command of the Empress in time? Will Urubran learn how to make bees happy? Can Tarwantrad ever make up for this egregious oversight? Tune in next time, to find out!
And so, another non-bee finally realizes the greatness of bees! Took him long enough. He must not be very competent or important if he didn’t realize something so blatantly obvious. This is why Belissar best dungeon master.
Anyways!
Can General Rippotis fulfill the mission granted to him by the gods themselves? Will he be able to make his Tower worthy of a Blessing of Bees? Will an army of non-bees manage to learn the greatness of bees? Tune in next time, to find out!
Oops, turns out getting smaller is kind of a problem if your answer to Pit Traps is being too big to fall in. Oh well. A win’s a win, and Beero definitely won! That’s one shade terminated and a bunch of soldiers back in action!
Anyways!
Will Belissar be able to expand the Tower soon? Will Beero’s new attack restore the soldier bee army’s might? Will all this be enough for whatever the next purification has in store? Tune in next time, to find out!
And so, the soldier bee army has begun...doing non-bee stuff? Eh? Is that a good thing? Like, how will digging ditches and moving wood and stone around help defend the hive of hives? Isn’t that a distraction? What sort of army has its soldiers doing construction work instead of training to fight? That can’t possibly be right...can it?
...well I guess regular bee hives the workers both fight and build the hive so maybe there’s a bee precedent for it? I guess we’ll have to see...
Anyways!
Can the Flower Meadow queens contribute to the hive of hives in a manner they find acceptable? Can Belissar cheer them up? Will making the soldiers build non-bee stuff instead of training have consequences for the army? Tune in next time, to find out!
Slime flower get! Which...could actually have ended badly if the monster bees were like normal bees, because apparently sometimes honeybees will bite flowers to take the nectar directly without going through the normal pollen business. Which, um, wouldn’t end well with these flowers. But it’s ok, the First of the Fifth is wise enough not to intentionally damage the flowers just for a bit of convenience! Why, that would make her as wasteful as the dangerous karnuq, so she would never!
Well, once her mind starts working again. She...just needs a moment after the latest words from the King.
Anyways!
Will the slime flower get along with Belissar’s Tower? Will the bees like the new flowers? When will the First of the Fifth’s mind resume working? Tune in next time, to find out!
...it’s a drone, who are useless, but is also a bee. W-What do we do? Do we accept it as a bee or are we even more upset that any bee could be as useless as a drone? What do drones even do, anyways? Why do queens even lay drone eggs in the first place?
...well, the Fourth of the Seventh has decided to accept him, so I guess we’ll go with that. I guess we’ll, um, just have to see if a drone has any use whatsoever...
Anyways!
What crazy idea is the Fourth of the Seventh cooking this time? Will saving a drone have any use whatsoever? How will the hive of hives react to this...curious expenditure of resources? Tune in next time, to find out!
Fourth of the Eighth needn’t have worried. She might be the last of the bees...but that’s still a bee, and so better than all the non-bees! But, you know, I guess it’s also fair for her to only consider the bees.
Well, we’ll just have to see if soldier honey works like worker honey does. Because right, the magic soldiers can make honey. But it's, like, soldier honey. Soldiers don't make honey, so can soldier honey match up to worker honey? Well, I guess we'll have to find out! Maybe one of the other queens will do something if not...
Anyways!
Can the Fourth of the Eighth become more than the lastborn? Can Beero repay her debt to the workers of the hive of hives? Will magical soldier honey have any particular effect? Tune in next time, to find out!
Drones...do something? Something actually important?! That’s...um...what?
...Niobee’s world might be collapsing now.
Oh, and I guess a bunch of other stuff happened too but all that takes backseat to Niobee’s emotional wellbeing! Belissar, you better take care of her while she processes this shocking revelation!
Anyways!
Do drones actually do something important?! Can Niobee handle this shocking truth?! Is any of that other stuff going on even vaguely important in light of this shocking news?! Tune in next time, to find out!
Dang it Chief Rohsuak, God of Fire! You just had to give the Hunger the idea of using fire, didn’t you?! This is what we get for relying on non-bees, smh.
And now bees might have to get hurt. We won’t forgive you if that happens!
Anyways...
Can the bees deal with this shade? What will Belissar decide to do? Will bees have to get hurt? Tune in next time, to find out...
...sometimes it’s not great to be king. But it is great to be bees! See, Belissar? We don’t need no non-bees to defend the hive of hives!
And either they’ll live and work for the hive of hives or go to the Queen of All Bees’ side where they can still work for the hive of hives! See! It’s win-win!
Anyways!
Can the bees keep defending the hive of hives? Will Belissar accept what it means to be king? Will the lancers emerge from this intact? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ah yes, the RNG. Only ever gives you what you want when you are prepared for it not to. Well, I guess in this case there might be a not so random god behind it. Actually, that’s a good question. Is there a God of Random Numbers? If so, that might be a good one for a Tower Lord to get a blessing from...
After the God of Bees, of course. We must respect the priori-bees.
Anyways!
What else will Belissar decide to do? What other perks and choices will these rewards have in store? Is building a pure fire room after facing a fire shade a good idea? Tune in next time, to find out!
Rare perk get! And it...lets the bees plant flowers. As it should! Clearly, the perk choices know what the priori-bees are! Because the only thing that can stop bees is lack of flowers. So, if the bees can plant their own flowers...well, non-bees better bee-ware!
Anyways!
Has Belissar made the right choices? Can anything stop bees that plant their own flowers? Will the non-bees beware? Tune in next time, to find out!
The Firstborn...is discovering entrenchment, huh? With her army of extremely diligent bees. That, um, is definitely going to end well...for anyone trying to attack them that is. Who’s ready for World War Bee?
Not the non-bees, that’s for sure.
Anyways!
Who has just discovered a new Sacred Den? Can the Firstborn further integrate the bee army with the King’s realm? Will her vision of new defenses come to pass? Tune in next time, to find out!
And so, the First of the Fifth has learned the art of delegation! But...but...how is she going to ensure appropriate quality for the King if she’s not the one doing all the work? That’s...um...m-maybe she should keep an eye on things for a bit more.
Just like we’ll be keeping an eye on those eggs! Hope they grow and hatch alright in those weird honeys....
Anyways!
Will the First of the Fifth’s daughter be up to their tasks? Will the First of the Fifth be able to delegate comfortably? What will become of the two eggs? Tune in next time, to find out!
...I’d question Belissar’s decision to put bees in a room filled with lava and a volcano launching boulders...but one of my web novel readers then informed me that . As expected of bees, every time you think they might need some help from magic, they just end up being magical on their own. And they are all too happy to build their hives on the burning and noxious slopes of an active volcano.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
It’s almost like I’m a silly non-bee being surprised at what bees are capable of.
Anyways!
How will the new room’s defense hold up? Will the Third of the Sixth stop her praise dance long enough to move into her new home? What wonders will bees come up with next? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ah, yes, the King has built perfect bee terrain. A black hellscape filled with rivers of molten fire and noxious fumes where the air itself would cook you alive. To which the bees say...King best king! Don’t mess with bees, folks. They look at volcanoes and say it’s prime real estate.
Oh, the non-bees were there too. Meh. I think Juosiutik’s on the right path with the get out of the way so we can focus on the bees idea but eh.
Anyways!
Will Juosiutik return to society? What will she do when she finds out about all the Sacred Den Master’s Flowers? Will Belissar touch the lava? Tune in next time, to find out!
Deadly bird-shade channeling the power of lightning? More like silly non-bee stuck in the honey trap! See, silly non-bee, if you had taken the efficient form of a bee, you would have had plenty of room to maneuver even in tight quarters like the Dirt Tunnels! But I suppose that is why you are a silly non-bee.
So silly you denied the bees their valorous fight, the test of all their tactical and evolutionary advancements! Apologize to them, you silly non-bee!
Anyways!
Will the bees ever get to test their anti-bird shade measures? Will Belissar learn to truly trust in his bees? How will the Tower and the bees grow with the new purifications? Tune in next time, to find out!
New bees, get! Bees that...well...um...Belissar doesn’t actually know what two of them do but they’re bees so it must be good!
Anyways!
Can the Fourth of the Eighth build upon her success? What will the new bees do? Can Belissar figure out ways to make new kinds of honey besides acquiring new flowers? Tune in next time, to find out!
Drones...do something? Niobee will be shocked! But once again, the King and the Fourth of the Seventh reveal their brilliance! As expected of them!
Anyways!
How will bumblebee soldiers fare against the Hunger? Has the drone found a job to do after all? What will the King and the Fourth of the Seventh come up with next? Tune in next time, to find out!
Wait, the Fourth of the Seventh...isn’t flying headlong into something interesting right at the feet of the Hunger? That’s...um...uh, I mean as expected of her! Of course we all expected her to have a well-developed self-preservation instinct and the situational awareness to identify extreme danger! Of course none of us expected her to just charge right in regardless. Of course not.
That’s why none of her hive is celebrating right now! They obviously didn’t expect her to do anything dangerous so they don’t need to mention it! Of course!
Anyways!
Will the Fourth of the Seventh get to scout the new rock hive? Will she find anything of note in it? Did any of her hive really expect her to just fly into danger? Tune in next time, to find out!
...um, was it a good idea to put the First of the Fifth and Juosiutik in contact? Well...who cares? We got more important things to deal with! Like mead! Magical mead!
Belissar never mentioned he was already making magical substances to Juosiutik, did he?
Anyways!
What will result from the First of the Fifth speaking with Juosiutik? Will they come up with new types of honey? How does the God of Bees feel about the latest offering? Tune in next time, to find out!
...so. It turns out that bees can get drunk and that the symptoms are surprisingly close to a human’s, though with some increased aggression and some additional symptoms similar to pesticides. But it also turns out that there’s an additional reason you should never ever get a bee drunk besides the physical effects. Only saw a handful of sources on this and few of them official but apparently guards bees will execute drunk bees upon their return to the hive. So, um, yeah. No mead for the bees until Belissar has a talk with them all. And well, if the bees aren’t getting any then neither are the non-bees!
Bees take no tolerance to a new level, huh...welp, guess the God of Bees feels differently? We’ll see, I guess...
Anyways!
How will the gardeners impact the Tower? How will Belissar’s bees react to mead? What will the God of Bees do with all that mead? Tune in next time, to find out!
Come on now, Belissar, it’s not that hard. They’re all just a bunch of non-bees, so just ignore them unless they bring flowers or try to steal honey. In the first case they shall be slightly tolerated, in the latter case they shall be stung. See, easy!
Anyways!
Shall Belissar figure out what he could possibly want from a bunch of non-bees? How will King Ratuatapi compare to best king? And will all of this benefit or detract from the bees? Tune in next time, to find out!
...I was already worried when we were talking to non-bees, but it’s worse. It’s so much worse. Non-bees based on animals...that eat...Belissar, have you considered the “ask Chief Rohsuak to set everything on fire” plan? I think both of your patron gods approve of that plan in this case.
Anyways!
...what will Belissar do about these non-bees? Will drastic measures be required to keep the bees safe? Will Chief Rohsuak’s services be required? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ugh. Non-bees. Talking to non-bees, ones who haven’t realized the greatness of bees. We’re, like, gonna need a lot of POBees after this.
Anyways!
What will King Ratuatapi decide to do? How will the talks conclude? Why do non-bees have to make everything complicated? Tune in next time, to find out!
New room, get! And hopefully new flowers and new bees get! What’s that? Some random non-bees making silly decisions? The ever-present threat of the Hunger? Who cares about all that! What matters is how the new room will help the bees!
Anyways!
How will the bees like the new room? What do fairy circles do anyways? What kind of flowers grow among them? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ah, silly Belissar, getting lost in the fae forest. If you just fly above the bushes and have compound eyes to keep track of your surroundings and pheromones to let your friends know where you’ve been and light and electricity tracking senses to further orient yourself via the sun and the planet’s magnetic field and an excellent memory for identifying plants and landmarks then it’s super easy to travel!
In other words...just be a bee!
Anyways!
What do fairy circles actually do? What sort of flowers will the gardeners grow around them? Will this become the best room ever? Tune in next time, to find out!
The Fourth of the Seventh introducing new ideas that revolutionizes the Flower Meadow queens’ operations? Eh, sounds like Tuesday to me. Truly the greatest disciple of the hive of hives!
Anyways!
Will the Orchard queens’ children successfully explore the new room? Will the First of the Fifth’s First Daughter gather enough news to share with the Fourth of the Seventh? How will the Firstborn react to the completely normal happenings of the Fourth of the Seventh? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ugh, the non-bees are back. And, like, being annoying, or something. But whatever, as long as they don’t hurt the bees, then who cares what they do. Let’s just get this over with and send them off to do whatever silly non-bees do.
If they ever do hurt the bees, though, then it’s instant death.
Anyways!
Has Belissar made a wise choice? Will the silly non-bees continue to be silly? Will we get back to the bees already? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ugh, like, so much non-bee stuff. The karnuq, at least, are starting to realize the greatness of bees. Perhaps they, too, will work for the hive of hives and be accepted as tolerable non-bees. Jury’s still out on the other non-bees though, so let’s get back to bees already.
Anyways!
Will Belissar and the skunk people finalize the deal? Will he managed to get some giant aphids or whatever from them? Are the karnuq bee-like enough to be a true part of the Tower? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ah, finally, bees. No more of all that silly non-bee talking business. Just bees doing bee things, as they should. Though, maybe Juosiutik should have let the other karnuq know a big bee was coming? But whatever, bees can go anywhere they like in the King’s lands, so the karnuq will just have to deal with it! They should be happy they have been graced by the presence of bees!
Anyways!
What will Juosiutik and the First of the Fifth’s daughter do with the quickblossom? How will the rest of the karnuq respond to the glorious presence of bees in their midst? How will the Flower Meadow queens’ specialization go? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ah, the karnuq are finally learning to appreciate and work on behalf of the bees. Perhaps they will become tolerable non-bees after all.
Jury’s out on the skunk people. Let’s hope those non-bees don’t do anything...silly.
Anyways!
Will the karnuq become tolerable non-bees? Will they learn the art of beekeeping? Will the skunk people become tolerable as well or will they do something silly? Tune in next time, to find out!
Silly non-bee appearance stuff: meh.
Awesome soldier bee army stuff: Amazing, incredible!
Well, it was fun assembling the army and all but all this is cutting into bee time so let’s wrap up the silly non-bee stuff and get back to bees!
Anyways!
How will the meeting between best King and not best king go? Will Belissar wrap up the silly non-bee stuff and get back to bees? Do these non-bees have anything to offer bees? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ok, finally got the silly non-bee stuff out of the way. That was a lot of time for stuff that’s definitely not important. Now the silly non-bees can go home and we can get back to bees, finally!
Although, I guess King Ratuatapi’s not so bad. Aphids are ok now, particularly since bees like them. Saw on Planet Earth there’s at least one bee species that does the aphid thing that ants normally do, though with treehoppers instead, so aphid ranching is in fact a bee-like activity. So, you know, I guess we’ll tolerate the non-bees as long as they bring honeydew to offer the bees.
Anyways!
Will Belissar and King Ratuatapi maintain a peaceful and prosperous relationship? Will Belissar secure the honeydew supplies for the bees? Was any of that silly non-bee stuff actually important? Tune in next time, to find out!
First Niobee POBee! Well, it took a while before I felt confident pulling back the veil on her, but now feels like a good time.
Karnuq, sigmaka, and humans beware. Mess with her King and you get the sting.
Now if only they could stop making her King spend precious queen-raising and hive-building time on silly non-bee stuff.
Anyways!
Can Belissar learn how to deal with people? Can Niobee make the hive strong enough to sting all outsiders without losing any bees? Will Niobee need to sting anyone here? Tune in next time, to find out!
And so, Tarwantrad learns the name of best dungeon master...and best beekeeper! And the Queen of All Bees’ friend has learned about her dungeon! I’m sure that’ll go well! There’s definitely no hard feelings regarding the God of Fire beating the God of Flowers to the first bee dungeon! Definitely not!
Good thing the Queen of All Bees definitely had a good reason not to tell her that definitely wasn’t just that she got excited and forgot!
Anyways!
Will Tarwantrad and Urubran find out who this Belissar is? Is it a good idea to let the God of Flowers drink mead? Why did the Queen of All Bees let the God of Fire in before her? Tune in next time, to find out!
...we’re still talking to non-bees, huh, Belissar? But well, at least we’re talking to the non-bees about bees so I suppose we’ll allow it. Indeed, the non-bees must be instructed on how to make the bees happy, so it is necessary.
Anyways!
Can Belissar and the gardeners fulfill the mission from the God of Flowers? What will Belissar do if conflict comes to the Tower? Can the karnuq learn the art of making bees happy? Tune in next time, to find out!
Five shots to hit a single target? For an auto-aimed trap with any degree of rng...that’s honestly miraculously accurate. We all know the rng only hits the enemy when they’re about to die anyways, when you don’t want that enemy unit killed, or else when it’s irrelevant to the course of the battle! Otherwise, hazardous features exclusively hit player units! Be grateful, Belissar!
Anyways!
How will shortcuts affect the Tower and the bees? How will the gardeners answer? What will Belissar choose to buy? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ugh, the non-bees maybe having relevant information and so making us wait for the store purchases. Dang it, we don’t want informed decisions, we want immediate ones! Well, at least we’ve made things more efficient for the bees. And the First of the Fifth’s First Daughter has casually arranged for her hive to become the hub of the entire hive of hives. As expected of the First of the Fifth’s daughter! On her way to favor and authority already!
Anyways!
What will Belissar purchase in the end? Will the new Bee Barracks be put to the test? How will the new shortcuts affect the hive of hives? Tune in next time, to find out!
Belissar, you fool. You’ve tripped the desire sensor! Everyone knows you can’t let the RNG know you want something! Ah well. At least we have nice candles to light the way for the Hunger to invade. Boulders was probably the sleeper choice but sadly Belissar hasn’t seen Indiana Jones. Strangely, Tower Lord doctrine apparently didn’t include booby-trapping the places of worship? Or did it? If we count the Towers as places of worship...then it does, doesn’t it?
Anyways!
What will the First of the Fifth do with the shortcuts? Will Beeswax Candles have any use for the bees? Will Belissar roll all commons once again? Tune in next time, to find out!
I was looking up various flower types we could use when I found out there’s one called beeblossom. The choice was made then and there. Though, I couldn’t find out why exactly it’s called that, apparently the flowers resemble butterflies so it’s also called whirling butterfly too.
As long as it lives up to its name, though!
Anyways!
Will the beeblossom live up to its name? Will Juosiutik set things on fire, intentionally this time? What’s alum good for anyways? Tune in next time, to find out!
And so, the First of the Fifth convinced all the bees to submit to her authority. As expected of her! The plan’s all coming together!
Anyways!
How will the First of the Fifth wield her new authority? Will anyone catch on to her grand plan? Will she fulfill the trust of the bees? Tune in next time, to find out!
Gasp, the First of the Fifth let flowers go neglected and forgotten? How could this be! ...well, I suppose I did read somewhere that honeybees prefer large amounts of a single flower type as opposed to a diverse collection of flowers with smaller amounts of each individual type, a reason why solitary bees are really important. So, perhaps monster bees inherited that focus, made worse due to their preference for high-mana flowers.
...it totally isn’t the case that the author forgot to update the progress of several flowers and mushrooms with everything else going on. And if such an unthinkable travesty did occur it would obviously be the fault of the non-bees for distracting us all from what’s truly important. See, this is why we should have let Niobee sting them all away!
Anyways!
What will the bees report to Belissar? How will he and the bees change the Tower now? Can the First of the Fifth resolve all this egregious inefficiency? Tune in next time, to find out!
Something’s...under attack? That’s...well, let’s answer this first. Are they bees? Because how important this all is depends heavily on the answer to that.
Anyways!
Who or what is under attack? Are they bees or non-bees? Will it matter to the hive of hives? Tune in next time, to find out!
...it’s the non-bees. It’s the non-bees who are especially un-beelike. The worst of them.
And, of course, the Hunger didn’t even have the decency to eat them. Come on, Hunger, for an extinction level calamity you sure have a poor win rate! Ugh.
Anyways!
Will Ruckanos finally fulfill the will of the gods? How will Niobee react to his arrival? Will the Hunger ever get a win? Tune in next time, to find out!
...Niobee already said it. Mess with the King, and you get the sting. You, um, better check in with that guiding god of yours, silly non-bee. You might be surprised at their intentions...
Anyways!
What will happen when Ruckanos and Belissar meet once more? What will the guiding god have to say? Will Ruckanos fulfill his destiny? Tune in next time, to find out!
Don’t worry, mister unnamed Tower Guard person! The bees will be fine! Now, all those non-bees, on the other hand...
Well let’s just say Ruckanos might be right about y’all heading to your destiny, whatever that may be.
Anyways!
Will Ruckanos finally claim his destiny? Has Belissar chosen his strategy well? What will become of the bees? Tune in next time, to find out!
How dare you, non-bee. Do you not know you are in the best dungeon of all, as decreed by a god?! It definitely is not the case that an amateur with no idea what they were doing just randomly threw things around! You reveal your ignorance, you silly non-bee!
Anyways!
Will Ruckanos encounter anything interesting in the Tower? Who could be responsible for this amateurish Tower’s survival? Will they pass through the next room quickly? Tune in next time, to find out!
...so you have chosen...death, you monstrous non-bee. You killed our bees. Prepare to die.
Anyways!
Can Ruckanos still seize his destiny? What will they do about the bee army now? Will the non-bees get what they deserve? Tune in next time, to find out!
Congratulations, Ruckanos, you fulfilled your destiny and the will of the gods! Disposable taxi. And your passenger isn’t giving you five stars, unfortunately. She’ll give you a tip though. She’ll give you as many tips as you’d like, in fact.
Anyways!
What’s next in the gods’ plan? How will the passengers react to the Tower? How will the Tower react to the passengers? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ugh, feelings. Silly non-bee things, those. So, let’s push that all away in a definitely healthy manner and focus on the important things!
Like bees! Belissar’s original bees! They’re here! They’re back! And now they get to see how the Hive-Builder’s craft has grown! Amazing! Incredible!
Definitely no silly non-bee things to worry about now!
Anyways!
Was Belissar wise to spare the two humans? How will the original queen react to the hive of hives? Will Niobee sting all the silly non-bees away? Tune in next time, to find out!
We salute you, brave bees. May you find endless flowers and sweet nectar as you join the Hive of All Bees.
Anyways.
What will Belissar, the denizens of his Tower bee and non-bee alike, and the old queen do next? Tune in next time, to find out.
The Conduit’s...mom? The hive of hives is not ready for a visit by such an existence. How do they approach someone who raised a hive of Conduits? Someone who knew the King from before he was king? Someone who...
Oh, the Fourth of the Seventh already started talking to her. Um, as expected of the scouting queen who braves the Beyond?
Anyways!
Can the queen come to comprehend the hive of hives? Can the First of the Fifth figure out how to approach her? Can either of them handle the Fourth of the Seventh? Tune in next time, to find out!
Meanwhile, the Firstborn, the Fourth of the Seventh, and the First of the Fifth will all applaud the courage and initiative of the outsider queen to be the first to settle near the karnuq instead of by the King, a move of bravery and self-sacrifice none of them had yet considered. As expected of the Conduit’s queen mother!
Oh, and I guess she’s an oracle or something. Which is super important because we can talk to the Queen of All Bees now! If she and the oracle aren’t both busy being bees, that is.
Anyways!
What words shall the Queen of All Bees impart to her chosen oracle? How will hosting an oracle affect the Tower? Will the queen be able to carve out a place for herself amongst the magical giants? Tune in next time, to find out!
Well it’s about time the non-bees started pulling their weight! Or so I’d say if they weren’t asking the bees to help them do it. Sigh. Silly non-bees. Well, as long as they end up saving some bee lives in the end, we’ll tolerate them. I guess.
Anyways!
Can Belissar prepare his Tower for future confrontations with the Tower Lords? Will the karnuq start raising champions once more? Can the non-bees start pulling their weight? Tune in next time, to find out!
We salute you all, brave soldiers. May your stingers pierce all enemies of the hive of hives.
Anyways!
Can Belissar protect his bees going forward? Have the soldiers grown strong enough to face growing enemies? Will Niobee get to sting enemies without losing bees? Tune in next time, to find out!
Oh look. There’s another non-bee that survived, who we totally didn’t forget about. Eh. And that means...ugh, the non-bees are claiming screentime again. Don’t they know we have better bees-ness to get to?
Whatever they have to say had better be important!
Anyways!
What will become of the wounded non-bee? What do these evil non-bees have to say? Is any of this worth devoting prime screentime we could have used for bees? Tune in next time, to find out!
Silly non-bee. Did you think you could hide the Queen of All Bees’ will from her best dungeon master? That was exceptionally silly of you.
You best learn from the slightly less silly non-bee. One of you, at least, understood what was important here!
Anyways!
Will the Tower Lords follow their disgraced party? Will Belissar’s Tower be able to prepare in time? What will become of the silly non-bees? Tune in next time, to find out!
All bees go to heaven! Unless the Queen of All Bees still needs them on the ground. In which case, we’ll send as many humans with them as it takes to keep them safe!
Hm? What about the humans? I mean, what about the humans? Supposedly they’re at the Hall of Judgement or whatever, unless the Tower Lords lied about that too. I dunno, Queen of All Bees hasn’t been there yet herself so who knows.
Anyways!
What will the Queen of All Bees do with her new oracle? How will she reward those involved? What will her favored dungeon master do next? Tune in next time, to find out!
...let me tell you, silly non-bee. If you want answers from the god who sent you, upsetting her favorite dungeon master is probably a poor decision. Let’s hope you got some useful intel, ok? Otherwise, we might have to go with Niobee’s preference for your fate...
Anyways!
Does the silly non-bee have anything important to share? Will he find the answers he seeks? Will he be forgiven for upsetting the favored dungeon master? Tune in next time, to find out!
Oh, look. Ancient lore about an extinction level calamity. Sounds like just a bunch of silly non-bee stuff to me. Don’t they know the will of the gods is happy bees? Sigh, silly non-bees. Hurry up and finish your silly non-bee stuff so we can get back to what’s important!
Anyways!
Will the Conclave come for Belissar once more? Can he prepare his Tower to protect all that the bees have built? Does the God of Bees have anything to say to a silly non-bee? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ugh, the non-bee stuff continues. But it, like, turns out that honeybee workers can and do, in fact, join other hives at times, and don’t get stung to death in the process. But those are wonderful bees, not silly non-bees, so does that apply here?
Guess we’ll have to see. Mr. Silly Non-Bee, you have a lot of work to do if you want to join the hive of hives!
Anyways!
Has Belissar made the right decision? Will the augur contribute to the hive of hives? Will Niobee have to sting him? Tune in next time, to find out!
Ugh, we got the silly augur and not the bee helper. The worst outcome. Stupid trauma getting in the way of our easy recruitment. Don’t you know if the MC talks to you you’re supposed to join the team? Sigh, silly non-bees.
So, we’ll do like Belissar and ignore all that silly non-bee stuff for more important things! Like Nio-mom getting a name now! Is, like, naming an oracle important or something? Well, whatever the case, naming a bee is certainly important so this is big news everyone!
There’s certainly nothing else we need to worry about going forward. Definitely not!
Anyways!
What will Hirkolos decide to do? Will Belissar ever find out what augurs do anyways? What does the future of the Bee Tower hold? Tune in next time, to find out!
You are right, Heigiosa. Something of utmost importance is occurring in that far off location, something that springs the gods themselves into action.
Bees.
So, you know, get yourself some bees, girl. The gods know your Tower needs some.
Anyways!
Will General Rippotis learn the ways of happy bees? Can the Grand Subjugation reach the far-off location? Will the High Council discover the matter of utmost importance to the gods occurring in the indicated location? Tune in next time, to find out!
