Chapter 70: Lords, Kings, and Emperors! IV

With clear resignation, Beast Lord Vishpala handed over the dazzling Gem Armament that reduced in size until it fell into Alexander's hands.

A gold crown inlaid with many different colored gems.

It looked like a stupendous work of art as the moment he held it, Alexander felt his Vigor and Energeia burn with activity- his Energeia that was used up slightly began to regenerate at a rapidly faster rate!

In addition to this, the upper limit of his Vigor and Energeia seemed to have been tremendously increased!

His Energeia was unconsciously pulled towards this crown as after it flooded into it and drained nearly half of his reserves, he felt a faint connection to it as it began to spin and float upwards...settling above his head before it sat itself sideways of his dark hair.

"That...is a relic forged by a Beast King Engineer of the Dwarvebeast Bloodline. Inlaid with 100 Gems, it can boost the regeneration of life force and energy, grant at least a third of the Life force equivalent to a Beast Lord, and it can unleash a wave of Royal Gem Aura that suppresses others while enhancing the effect of your gem recipe. It is..."

She wanted to say it was hers! Given to her to hold on to as normally, only truly powerful Beast Lords like her brother would be granted such tools to ensure their survival as they were the future of their Lineage.

But...she could only sigh in resignation as her massive form radiated scintillating light before she transformed into a humanoid appearance.

Her visage was utterly gorgeous to look at as her hair now held verdant and gold strands extending almost to her waist, her eyes watery and filled with shocking brilliance as a green dress covered her body.

She looked towards Alexander and the gold crown that lay on his head, which made him look like a young king with his own green battle robe, as she sighed and accepted what had happened.

In front of her, Alexander touched the crown on his head as he spoke out calmly.

"Is there any immediate threat I should be mindful of? Another part of this army, or your higher ups?"

He asked such a question as Beast Lord Vishpala had many thoughts flash in her mind.

Should she...reveal everything?

Her position was unique in that currently, she was bound to him. He could take her life any time he wished, and if she kept things from him and her brother was notified of this situation and came himself...

Even then, she couldn't confidently say that her brother would be able to overcome this new master of hers!

Such entities were too rare. Too powerful!

There were only rumors about them existing within some Royal Beast Lineages or Mythical Lineages.

Vishpala...did not exactly where to place her new master as with the ridiculous gain in just her power that made her feel like she could rival a Tier 8 Beast King...she came up with two possibilities.

One was already terrifying, and that her new master was an entity with Variant Life Sockets- 8 of them at that as this would make them a King.

A Human King!

The other possibility was that Humans of this world had actually given birth to a Tier 9 Gem Master.

A Human Emperor!

This was too terrifying to even think of whether it was the first possibility or the latter one; they caused Vishpala to not mess around whatsoever as she continued.

"If my brother has been notified, the first thing he will do...is likely send someone to see what has happened. Another Beast Lord likely, and a fast one at that. I even have an idea of who it may be. But they will go towards the Ascendant Stronghold we were supposed to be attacking, and after they see we aren't there, they'll easily pick up the movements of our army from our original route.

Given their speed...it could be a range of half an hour to an hour before they come here?"

She tilted her head with thought as she spoke such words!

Hearing them, Alexander's eyes shone sharply as he looked around the battlefield.

He looked towards the decimated Tier 6 Peacocks and Orcs as from his chest, three more blinding rays of golden light shot out.

Two towards two Tier 6 Peacocks, and one towards another Tier 6 Orc!

"Then...let us wrap things up and prepare to intercept. There's a lot more I need to hear from you."

With the crown adorned on him, the sheer presence he released was a suffocating one as he truly looked like royalty, Beast Lord Vishpala biting her lips as she thought of the future to come...
