As we chatted, the sky outside the window turned yellow.

It was evening.

Victoria asked me if I wanted to have dinner with her, but since I had a place I needed to go, I shook my head.

Her dormitory serves dinner, so at least I wouldn’t have to worry about missing a meal.

Relieved, I said goodbye to Victoria and told her I’d see her tomorrow, then left the student dormitory.
