The general direction of the next volume probably won't shock anyone at this point, but the specifics of how it is handled might not be what you expect. It doesn't quite match up with the standard tropes, but after a lot of thought, and after a major rewrite from the original drafts, it feels like it is the right direction for Su Fang.
