Chapter 13: Scolding

the t.v was turned off suddenly.

“For how fucking long will it snow, I've been cooped up in this fucking cage called my house for a month already!” sounded a depressed female voice. Many people shared the same views as this female because the snow had kept them in closed doors for a month.

The residents were happy at first when it started to snow but snow just kept falling until the authorities forced them inside their houses due to safety hazards. The weather forecast people had calculated that the snow would be more dangerous than a flood so everyone remained in closed doors.

In fact, the snow was so thick that people couldn't even open their doors because they were blocked by the snow. Authorities went house to house to distribute provisions to those who had none. This in itself was a very risky job because it was hard to see with the snow still falling and some psychopaths might even attack them.

“Baby, please come to bed, it's very cold.” said Jace.

“Jace, when will the snow storm end? At this point, it might as well be considered a calamity because people might die if it continues to snow and all you care about is sex! Unbelievable!” shouted Scarlet.

“Some of my customers have been stuck here for an entire month and can't go back to their families, plus, the hotel is running out of food, my girls got to eat too.”

“Relax, I'm sure Haoyu will come back soon and solve the problem, he's probably still cultivat... I think he's back.” said Jace. He and Scarlet then went downstairs and as Jace had said, Haoyu was standing at the hotel entrance with a small smile on his face, feeling very proud and happy about what he accomplished.

“What the fuck is there to be smug about?! You're ruining Scarlet's business with your damn snow! Fucking remove all the snow in the city, I don't know how you're gonna do it and I don't care! Just fucking get rid of the snow even if takes months!” angrily scolded Jace.

Haoyu just looked at him with a dumbfounded look. Out of all the possibilities Haoyu had thought of, this one definitely wasn't one of them. He could tell that Jace was very angry and wasn't faking it.

“Why the fuck are you still standing around for, fucking get to work or you want me to beat you up first?! Do you know how hard my days have been? Do you know what I went through because of your fucking snow storm. If such a situation happens again in the future, I promise to make you eat shit!” shouted Jace angrily when he saw Haoyu just looking at him.

With the second warning, Haoyu quickly took action, he waved his hand and all the snow in the city moved to create a very big snowman, the snowman then walked away, its direction towards the premival forest.

“You said something about Small Worlds, does that mean there are bigger worlds than this one?” asked Scarlet. Haoyu didn't answer immediately but looked at Jace and Jace nodded in approval.

“As you've guessed, worlds also have their own grades. Worlds in the Lower Mortal Domain are all called Small Worlds due to their realm cap and the type of energy they have.” briefly explained Haoyu.

“Then what grade is your world?” asked Scarlet.

“You're too weak to know about this information. If I were to reveal more, I'm afraid I'll be cutting short your confusion path. When your cultivation is strong enough, I'll naturally reveal more information to you.” said Haoyu calmly.

Scarlet pouted and looked at Jace but Jace pretended like he didn't see her expression.

“I see, thank you for your information, it has really broadened my horizons on how big the cultivation world actually is. I'll work hard to become strong enough and obtain more confirmation from you.” said Jun Hie before leaving but before he left, he gave Scarlet a deep gaze that conveyed words that only the two of them could understand then left.

After Jun Hie left, Scarlet also left the room but not before leaving Jace with some words that completely elevated his mood.

“Jace, I'm going to sleep, aren't you coming?” she asked.

“Just give me a second honey, I'll be right up, there's something I want to tell Haoyu.” answered Jace.

“Okay, but don't take long.” then she left.

“You bastard, why did you take so long to return. You know, we were supposed to leave this place a long time ago but because of you, we had to postpone again and again.” said Jace.

“I apologise, I was solidifying my cultivation before ending my seclusion. It won't happen again.”

“It better because I absolutely won't spare you! Do you know what it's like to look at a delicious cake but not eat it, it's torture! Torture of the highest level!”
